part 2 of the review for the thunderbirds episode that i have dubbed “fat train in japan” (technically “runaway”)
and we start with granny trying to open a can by whacking a table with it. WE GET IT, SHE CAN NOT COOK! HAVEN’T YOU HEARD OF SUBTLETY?
then max comes alon and reveals that in his abdomen is a drill and a… WHISK?
WHAA?
we cut back to brains, he has snapped into the zone and scott tries to reassure Ataru the train driver that he’s at no risk
but brains cannot even wire together this thing, i’m starting to think that max cam in several parts as part of a magazine (first issue £5.99, normal price £1503, $12 and 50 yens).
scott calls john and asks him for advice. john says that they can’s get to the signal without first hitting the train and to land TB-1 on the train, well i guess that’s the reason for tb-1’s rotating thrusters! train hugging!!! scott thinks up a better idea and just uses the frikken jet engines to pull the train backwards. be glad that he’s here with his “actually thinking” shtick eh?
yep i kid you not, that is what the engine rotation does. TOY GIMMICK ALARM!!!!
WEEEOOO
WEEEOOO
then this breaks off
but it’s enough and john is able to cockblock the train with the points.
so the train is now heading into a city, great job heroes, john thinks that the train is self aware and alan points out the obvious.
and i’ve just realised that john is so big on being in space because… in space there is no up or down so nobody can say that he’s “on” the john ever again. muhahahahahahahaha!
look you try and make something funnier than the absurdist humour in this.
such as alan doing “game theory” that just happens to look like… pollen but also like that thing from earlier that he was just looking at in the last panel.
brains calls scott over and says that he (scott) can stop the train.
and now it’s half 3 in the morning. i guess that this’ll be a 3 parter.
see ya!
